From Trends Analysis to Marketing Action

May 15 & 16, 2008
Geneva & Zürich, Switzerland

The Ipsos Geneva team is organizing a breakfast-conference on the following subject: From Trends Analysis to Marketing Action.

In a world of rapid change, economic actors need to know about emerging trends to guide their choices. What trends have been confirmed in 2007 and how can you convert trends into operational solutions for your innovation strategy?

These questions will be addressed by Rémy Oudghiri, sociologist, marketing expert and Ipsos Marketing Director of Syndicated and Trend Studies Department. Rémy will share with us some of the key learnings of Trend Observer 2007, Ipsos international trend monitor report.

Trend Observer is a qualitative study conducted annually by Ipsos with around 50 "Trendsetters" originated from several industries – fashion, design, art, music and new media – in the US, Japan, UK and France in 2007. Trend Observer can serve as a product or services innovation platform or be used to better position a brand or develop an advertising campaign. For example, we worked recently with several clients on the creation of new product concepts based on the learnings of the study.
