World Luxury Tracking Conference

February 20 & 21, 2008
Geneva & Neuchatel, Switzerland

As Ipsos prepares to launch a new wave of its syndicated study World Luxury Tracking initiated in partnership with the International Luxury Business Association, Ipsos Geneva organizes a breakfast-conference on the New Challenges for the Luxury Industry Worldwide.

In a context of rapid change and democratization of the Luxury world, what is the definition of "Luxury" for consumers in developed markets? Are there major differences of views between the middle class population and the high income earners? What are the strategic client segments for the Luxury industry? These questions will be addressed by Rémy Oudghiri, sociologist, marketing expert and Ipsos Marketing Director of Syndicated and Trend Studies Department. Rémy will share with us some of the key learnings gathered during the first wave of Ipsos World Luxury Tracking, based on 8000 interviews conducted by Ipsos in Europe (Top 5 markets), in the US and in Japan in 2007.
